Sorry I'm not willing to investigate time in testing this in a wcxtest scenario. I'll test only scenarios which involve TC. Just provide steps to reproduce - if possible with a fresh TC and TotalSQX installation.

I thought it might be easier to debug using wcxtest. Anyway, here are two crash scenarios using TC7.01

Scenario A
1) Start TC with an empty ini file.
2) Install the TotalSQX plugin. There is no TotalSQX.ini in the plugin directory.
3) Test an sqx archive for the first time. -> It crashes.

4) Test this sqx archive a second time. -> Everything is OK.

Scenario B
1) Start TC with an empty ini file.
2) Install the TotalSQX plugin. There is no TotalSQX.ini in the plugin directory.
3) In pack files dialog press 'configure'. -> It crashes.

I hope you haven't forgotten about my bug report which you led me to think it's related to the redirection feature in TC7.

I'd really like to use the sqx format more often and the options provided by your plugin look very nice.

I didn't let you think this. I wrote I cannot reproduce it.

I cannot reproduce it either with a clean ini but I do reproduce it with my usual settings on 2 computers. Any suggestions where to look?

I get this when pressing "Configure" in packer dialog:
Access violation at address 01191D20. Read of address 00000000.
once in two tries (first try - eror, 2-nd try - good, 3-rd try - error, 4-th try good and so on).

I also get this when entering a sqx archive for the first time in a TC session:
Access violation at address 01051D20. Read of address 00000000
Thanks in advance for any advice.

usual settings
It's really impossible to find any bugs this way. I suggest you wait for a future version as there will be no more updates for 1.10 as I already wrote.

Can you reproduce the crash using wcxtest, too?

Of course. Now I read your posts more carefully and it seems we both describe the same problem.
