No autorun entries in drive letter context menue
Hi,
I think it's a bug:
TC doesn't show the autorun entries when pluggin in a USB drive and rightclicking the drive letter. I checked it in TC6.51 and there it works.
I'm using Truecrypt so the autorun entries are really important for me.
Could you please fix this?
Thanks

Which entries are you missing ?
I have
and I can see a "Total Commander" in the context menu, and it works ...
I have
Code: Select all
[AutoRun]
Shell=TotalCmd
Shell\TotalCmd=&Total Commander
Shell\TotalCmd\Command=LaunchTC.EXE

Hm, looks like this happens only when TC is already running before I plug in my USB Drive. Same behavior on my notebook.
My autorun file:
[autorun]
open=Apps\TrueCrypt\TrueCrypt.exe /q /a /e /m rm /v "Security"
shell=mount
icon=Apps\TrueCrypt\TrueCrypt.exe
action=Mount TrueCrypt Volume
shell\open\command=Apps\TrueCrypt\TrueCrypt.exe /e /m rm /v "Security"
shell\open=TrueCrypt Start
shell\mount\command=Apps\TrueCrypt\TrueCrypt.exe /q /a /e /m rm /v "Security"
shell\mount=TrueCrypt Mount
shell\dismount\command=Apps\TrueCrypt\TrueCrypt.exe /q /d
shell\dismount=TrueCrypt Dismount All
My autorun file:
[autorun]
open=Apps\TrueCrypt\TrueCrypt.exe /q /a /e /m rm /v "Security"
shell=mount
icon=Apps\TrueCrypt\TrueCrypt.exe
action=Mount TrueCrypt Volume
shell\open\command=Apps\TrueCrypt\TrueCrypt.exe /e /m rm /v "Security"
shell\open=TrueCrypt Start
shell\mount\command=Apps\TrueCrypt\TrueCrypt.exe /q /a /e /m rm /v "Security"
shell\mount=TrueCrypt Mount
shell\dismount\command=Apps\TrueCrypt\TrueCrypt.exe /q /d
shell\dismount=TrueCrypt Dismount All

2JogaBaer: I played around with the display of [autorun] entries.
Sometimes my disk name (at "Label" entry) is not displayed at the yellow "quickinfo" if you hover your mouse pointer over the drive button.
Just open the drive dropdown list and close it again and it shows in the list as well as at the quickinfo.
May this helps with your entries too ...

I don't think that I can do anything about it. The context menu isn't created by TC itself, but by Windows. You can try this with my tool samplerightclick linked many times here in the forum, it should do the same...
