TC7.02a - SpecialCursorMovement=8 doesn't work

Post by *Raymond »

History reads:
09.09.07 Added: SpecialCursorMovement= option in wincmd.ini: Add 8 to translate cursor left/right to PageUp/PageDown instead of Home/End

But when I add this line in wincmd.ini
SpecialCursorMovement=8
then restart Tc and press Left/Right key, nothing happens.

Previous
SpecialCursorMovement=1
works fine.

Try adding 1 or 2.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Then I tried with
SpecialCursorMovement=9
it works now.
It means sum of 1 (left/right to Home/End ) + 8 (left/right to PageUp/PageDown). It's a little confused to me. Home/End and PageUp/PageDown are two different behaviors, how come I'm supposed to sum them up?

1 turns on 4 way cursor movement, while 2 turns on two way movement plus enter/leave directory. 8 is just a modifier for the 4 way cursor movement method. It was the easiest way to implement. Having 8 alone would have needed many changes, impossible to add in a 7.02a version...
