Internet Explorer suffix option --> TC Command line

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Internet Explorer suffix option --> TC Command line

Post by *Fabrice Canel »

If in Internet Explorer / Menu tools / Internet Options / Languages, I add a suffix
de

then in the Total Commander command line, if I type
copy
and I type CRTL+Enter to copy the file I was on (not necessary highlighting) as c:\Temp\commerce.txt, instead of
copy c:\Temp\commerce.txt
I have
copy.de c:\Temp\commerce.txt

This happens because you have mistyped a command line before, so "copy.de" has been stored in TC command line history. It has nothing to do with IE...

Use "copy{Space}{Ctrl+Enter}" instead of "copy{Ctrl+Enter}", otherwise the "bad" entry is autocompleted. Additionally you should remove the bad entry with Shift+Del from command line history.

Sorry, but this has to do with IE.

If I type
hhh{Space}{Ctrl+Enter} and configure the suffix option of IE to "it" you will have
hhh.it

I never typed hhh before, I don't have .de as I changed the suffix option to "it"

I cannot reproduce your findings, maybe someone else can. Good luck.
