CD after creating multiple directories

Post by *astrotzky »

Krusader has an interesting feature I would like to see in Total Commander: after creating a directory, it also CD into it.
What I propose is the following:
- if creating a single directory (dir1) the current behaviour is used
- if creating multiple directories with a single command (by using slash or backslash like dir1/subdir1/subdir2), enter the last directory (change the current directory to dir1/subdir1/subdir2).

If others don't need this, it should probably be made configurable.

Second feature could be nice but first doesn't differ from just double Enter press after writing folder name down.
"When we created the poke, we thought it would be cool to have a feature without any specific purpose." Facebook...

It's a single feature request ("Second feature") and it's not only nice, it also saves time (you have to use ENTER and ARROWS multiple times).

Admittedly it's not a "can't live without" feature, but details matters.

Thank you and please read my reply.

But I definitely would like this behaviour handled by TC itself.
