Create nested dirs fails -> no 'As Admin' suggested

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Create nested dirs fails -> no 'As Admin' suggested

Post by *Flint »

When I try to create several nested subdirectories (e.g. dir1\dir2\dir3) in a directory that is write-protected (for example, due to insufficient user rights), TC shows just a message of a failure without "As Admin" button, so I have to either create them one-by-one, or start another TC instance with Admin rights.

TC 7.02a, checked under WinXP SP2 Pro & Vista x64 Ultimate.

PS: Side-by-side directories, like dir1|dir2|dir3, do not have this problem, "As Admin" is showed in the message box in this case.

Confirmed (both) with Win2k SP4.
Who the hell is General Failure, and why is he reading my disk?

I'm sorry, the multi-create function of nested subdirs isn't currently supported by the "as admin" function.
