On which operating system do you use TC mainly?
I stumbled over a poll in a forum of another filemanager The result showed clearly that almost all users use at least Windows 2000. As a consequence the upcoming version of SpeedCommander will require Windows 2000 and will be released as unicode only. That doesn't mean the same can be applied to Total Commander users. The could help to make it easier for the author to know which operating systems still needs to be supported at this point in time.
Please choose the system which you use mainly.
The poll will end on August 31th.

My main workstation is running W2K, and as far as I'm concerned, it will stay that way.
Besides that, I have two simple laptops with TC on W98. But I don't demand support for that, in future builds of TC.
As long as it is compatible, it's nice. If no longer, I'll just continue to work with the latest correct version for W98.

About Unicode support:
Good new by Christian: Full Unicode support is a "must" these days.
---
About the used Windows versions:
Too bad there is no option to check more than 1 Windows version. Too bad for those of us who use several different machine regularly in a company environment.
So my proper answer should read (by order of frequency, descending):
+ Windows XP Pro, 32bit (ticked in the poll)
+ Windows 2003 Std, 32bit
+ Windows 2000 Sp4 Rollup1, 32 bit

Still using Windows XP 32 Bit, here 5 months after my first wote - I still see no reason to change (but a lot of reasons for not changing).
