Can not upload large files on FTP in Vista

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

TC does not use its own drivers, and user-mode software cannot cause BSOD in Windows (at least, should not be able). So, the problem is apparently in Windows itself, in its drivers or drivers installed by some third-party software (which is probably not compatible with Vista).

Try to create the FTP log file in TC and post it here, but I don't think it will help much...

Do you use any kind of firewall or virus scanner? These two types of softwares are known to put themselves deep into the system (usually with drivers) and can cause such BSODs in case of errors within the driver. What module name does the BSOD display?

I have made some research on "bad_pool_caller". One suggestion was to turn off hyperthreading in the bios, but this is only fighting the symptoms. To really find out what the problem is, you need to send me the latest minidump crash dump file (zipped) to support at ghisler dot com. You can find it in %SystemRoot%\Minidump . Just send me ONE of these files.
