Hi,
I recently installed two programs (MyPhoneExplorer and Send File) on my Vista system, where I use Total Commander. After these installs, some files are affected, i assume, and Total Commander started behaving weirdly.
I tried to put some dll, ocx, oca and bpl files inside system32 folder and registered them to recover the situation.
Now, the Send To menu is not working inside TC only. When you try to use it, the TC will freeze for some time, after you recover from that, the right click menu will not show up at all. When you try to close TC right on this status, it could not be closed correctly. After you clicked the X (to close TC), you can still see the program running on Task Manager.
What might be the source of the problem and how to solve it?
Thank you...

You know what you did in this place?kgursu wrote:...I tried to put some dll, ocx, oca and bpl files inside system32 folder and registered them to recover the situation. ...
Setups ignoring version information are the main reason for the so called dll-hell.
You should try to set the system to a previous restore point using the "Control Panel->System and Maintenance>Backup and Restore Center->Use System restore to fix problems and undo changes to Windows"
If this will not help, follow the instructions here: http://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=116915#116915

Apparently one of these two programs has installed a bad shell extension.he right click menu will not show up at all
To correct it, please try the following:
1. Get the free tool ShellExView:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html
2. Disable all context menu shell extensions added by the two new programs one by one (you can hide/keep those belonging to Windows, they are usually OK).
3. Continue until Total Commander stops crashing
