Registry plugin BUG

I'm using the registry plugin v1.5.3 by Vitaliy Knyazev.

When I change a stringvalue or create a new stringvalue
under Windows 98 it does'nt work. If I change a value the previous
value is deleted and a blank string i saved not the new. The same if I create a new value.

If I use the other registry plugin by Alexey Babenko it works.

I didn't know there is a registry plug-in - and now I can't find it.
Care to tell me where I can get noe or both of them?
