Problem beim Transfer von FTP-Server direkt auf WinCE-Gerät

Hallo,

wir benutzen sehr viel das WinCE-Plugin für den TC um unsere diversen PDAs (HP iPAQ 24xx, 214, Symbol, Intermec etc.) zu administrieren und unsere PBV-Software hoch-/ runterzuladen.

Nun fällt mir in letzter Zeit öfter auf, dass beim Transfer von einem FTP-Server über den TC direct auf ein WinCE-Device die übertragenen Dateien nicht in dem Ordner landen den man bei dem WinCE-Gerät ausgewählt hat.

Beispielsweise will ich von unserem FTP-Update-Server (TC linkes Fenster) neue Libraries auf meinen HP2410 (TC rechtes Fenster) in das Verzeichnis //tpbv/bin kopieren.
Ich starte den Kopiervorgang, sehe auch das Dateien übertragen werden, finde sie aber nachher im Verzeichnis //tpbv oder sogar ganz im Root der CE-Device.
Dieser Pfadfehler passiert nicht immer, aber doch immer mal wieder, sodass ich inzwischen immer den "Umweg" über die lokale Festplatte gehe beim Kopieren.

Wir benutzen die Version 1.0 vom WinCE-Plugin unter Windows XP mit ActiveSync 4.5.

Wäre über jeden Tip dankbar, da die Zeitersparnis durch das direkte Kopieren erheblich ist im Laufe des Tages.

Bitte schalten Sie mal das Logging für FTP-Verbindungen ein, vielleicht finden wir so das Problem:
Konfigurieren - Einstellungen - FTP - Logdatei.

Dieses wird auch von Plugins mit benutzt.

Ok, ich hab jetzt mal ein bißchen rumprobiert.

Wenn ich über eine FTP-Verbindung (mit JavaFTP-Server) Daten auf einen HP2410 übertragen will, dann seh ich zwar das er kopiert, er legt die Daten aber nicht auf dem HP iPAQ ab, sonder im Root von Laufwerk c:/.

Sorry, ich habe übersehen, dass Sie direkt vom FTP-Server auf ein Windows CE-Gerät kopieren wollen. Das wird von TC gar nicht unterstützt! Sie sollten eigentlich einen Fehler "Ziel ungültig" erhalten. Welche Version von Total Commander benutzen Sie denn?

Komischerweise hat es aber vereinzelt schon funktioniert, so dass ich davon ausgegangen bin, es würde prinzipiell funktionieren.

Ich benutze immer die aktuellste Version, in diesem Fall also die 7.02a (bin zuhause, müßte aber stimmen).

Ich kriege auch in den meisten Fällen die Fehlermeldung. Aber z. B. beim HP iPAQ 2410 - wie erwähnt - stellt er die Verbindung her und man kann auch den Kopiervorgang starten, nur landen die Daten halt nicht auf dem PDA.

Sorry, ich habe übersehen, dass Sie direkt vom FTP-Server auf ein Windows CE-Gerät kopieren wollen. Das wird von TC gar nicht unterstützt! Sie sollten eigentlich einen Fehler "Ziel ungültig" erhalten. Welche Version von Total Commander benutzen Sie denn?

Gibt es keinerlei Möglichkeit das zu realisieren, da es - wie auch erwähnt - eine deutliche Zeitersparnis wäre.

Im Prinzip ginge es schon, allerdings würde es zu Problemen mit vielen Plugins führen, welche die Dateien nicht wirklich kopieren, sondern nur Links auf diese anlegen, z.B. die Brennplugins oder das Temp-Panel-Plugin. Bei diesen würde die Datei vom PDA nach TEMP kopiert, dann dem Plugin mitgeteilt, es könne sie kopieren, und die temporäre Datei anschliessend gelöscht. Weil das Plugin aber nur einen Link angelegt hat, zeigt dieser anschliessend ins Leere...

also gibt es keine vernünftige Direkt-Lösung, die sich nicht störend auf den Total Commander auswirkt.

Gut, dann muß es halt auf die "altmodische" Art gehen.
