:) Again…
I talking about TToolbar.DisabledImages property (Delphi)
 Ah ! I see ! So, you meant that the greyed bar bitmap should be used automatically when present ?

Not quite - try and download this file: http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/main.zip

Then make a directory with 9 or more characters for example "123456789" in the root of a drive and extract main.htm into that. Open it in UV. Mostly, but not always, I get a character displayed at the end of the time info - it seems to be an "Å" from the message "Åbner siden ...." = "Opening page ....".

It seems to be important how long the path of the file being opened is.

Image bug

Post by *Clo »

2Alextp

:) Hello Alexeï !

• Recently, I'd to display some 8 BPP BMP having a Magenta BG as transparent, and had the transparency "ON".
At 1:1 scale, no problem, but as soon as I zoom in¦out, the colours are inverted and the image is no more viewable normally.
- That's shown on a video AVAILABLE HERE.
- In the RAR you have the sample to test, and also the same image as 24 BPP
which works normally when blown up or reduced.
- That occurs both with the “Pro” and “Free” versions, as soon as the transparency is enabled.
- Note :   The use of that image makes that the Magenta BG and BMP are mandatory…

• Any clue ?

I confirm.
The workaround: switch on "Resample image"
It is bug in Delphi VCL (TImage)

Better ?

Post by *Clo »

2Alextp

:) Hello Alexeî !

• Right, but I disable the zoom smoothing for such pictures (icon-bars), because I need to see the blown-up pixels “as is”…
- No hope to display that better when zoomed ? Maybe patching the image library or so ? Just a thought…

Missing string to translate

Post by *Clo »

2Alextp

:) Hello Alexeï !

• When I set an image extension which isn't supported, for example *.ANI (Animated Cursors),
I get the hard-coded error message as a label on the screen:

Unknown picture file extension [ANI]

Always in English… Please, could you plan a string to translate it ?
:P … or support ANI

:?  :| :(
ANI: Afaik, supported by IView..
• I don't use it, it's also supported by XnView, but it's lame… "Imagine" displays ANI so fine, though.
- I'ld prefer a built-in support rather than a plug-in, of course, but it isn't a big deal…
