Speed of ftps

Post by *beili »

Hello,

today I transfer 4GiB to my Linux Server using TC over FastEthernet local.
The time was 1hour. :?
My profession is networking and I did a compare with cygwin scp.

100% 4096MB 7.5MB/s 09:10

As you see it is more than six times faster. :lol: Is there a possibility tho speed up the ftps: in Totalcommander.

The tcp-stack is not tuned.

Thanks in advance

What is a good setting for the UploadBlockSize?
chmod a+x /bin/laden -- Allows anyone the permission to execute /bin/laden

How do I un-overwrite all my data?

A forum search with UploadBlockSize getting some results.
For example:
  • UploadBlockSize=8192
    or
    UploadBlockSize=32768
Also higher values can be used. Here is no "best" value. The user must find the best performance by increasing UploadBlockSize and measuring the impact.
