If it isn't that very complicated to make a DLL (WLX) from this programme, we could get a nice plug-in
able to display .CUR properly "as is" and also in the ICLs -
That would be great. If GFIE author would make a DLL
for CUR / ICL.

Edit
But better the WLX (of course).

:) Hello Alexeï !
That would be great. If GFIE author would make a DLL for CUR / ICL. …
• I wrote to him this morning and renewed that suggestion, I sent also the
<listplughelp1-8.zip> in order he gets a clue about how to process…
- Actually, this could be much more than for .CUR¦ICL only, since currently GFIE supports very well .ICO (of course)
.RES - .ANI - .GIF (animated too, creation¦edition) - PNG etc. files, can extract and edit from EXE and the like…
- Indeed as a WLX, it's only a DLL which agrees the Ch. Ghisler's instructions, isn't it ?
- The next GFIE version which is coming soon has some GUI details improvements making it very "comfortable" at using…

• Maybe could you contact Balázs Szalkai and share the job a bit ?
- Such a collaboration on this idea could be very fruitful, I guess…

I now think that there is a;ready Imagine written, which
supports CUR / ICL. No need to write another WLX imho...

BTW: thank you for announcing the GFIE in forum. THis is very good tool.

I disagree with you.

There are lots of plugins already (~500) but many of them cannot be replaced. Their authors stopped working on ages ago. How many plugins left forgotten? How many of them are still updated?

One more plugin gives better chances to live after a while.

:) Hello !

• You are right ! In the case, I suggest such a plug-in because not any has image editing¦creation features it could have !

- And right again : A large part in the mountain of existing plug-ins are dead or moribund…
BTW : A list of really usable and updated ones could be very useful…

I did such list some time ago and it was available on my site. Unfortunately, due to database hosting issues I had to resign from this feature ;(

I can still export it from DB for you. Just ICQ me.

:) Hello Alexeï !
The "Show line numbers" feature will be enabled in Free version (*in next version).
• Ah ! That's nice ! Thanks !
¤ Forging ahead, please could you widen (a lot) the cell of the status bar
where the path of a hovered link is displayed in Web mode ?

- I guess that petermad noticed already that the truncated indications are inconvenient,
and now I dare say that it's very annoying :
- To update big HTML Help folders, I use UV now in my editor as the viewer
(because some snags with XP for its native one…).
- I need to see the whole path, especially when it ends with an anchor target like i.e.

Code: Select all

File:///Some_dir/some_file#blah_blah
The most time I can read only

Code: Select all

File:///Some_dir/some_file#b...
- So, I'm bound to open also this page and search for the full ID, that of course is irritating and time wasting :|
- Please, could you fix this ? TIA !

@ X-Byte
Hi,

I'm not gone yet Wink

Being married turned out to be more time-consuming than expected Embarassed

Sorry for that big delay, Alex!

I'll redo those icons and provide a 16x16 version as well.

@Alex, can you also handle png files? The icons use a transparency layer, that's why they turn white when you convert them to a bitmap, which unfortunately does not support transparency.
It would give great pleasure to see your awesome icons as 16x16 version.

Do you see any chance? Possibly this year? ;-)

Thx in advance!!!
