I just found a workaround:

23.03.06 Added: Additional sort orders: Shift+Click now adds/removes additional sort order, while Ctrl+click continues to switch additional sort order direction

This translates into:

sortorder=4

in wincmd.ini (Sort by 0=name, 1=extension, 2=size, 3=date, 4=unsorted) and "Unsorted" seems to use the raw NTFS sort order.
