Strange behavior in archives when using breadcrumb bar

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Strange behavior in archives when using breadcrumb bar

Post by *lazara5 »

If I navigate to "My Documents" using the breadcrumb bar, the following things happen to archive files:
- ZIP files are displayed enclosed by brackets, just like folders
- Pressing [Enter] on ZIP files produces no result
- Other archive files display normally, but pressing [Enter] on them opens them in the associated program rather than entering the archive

This does not happen when navigating to this folder normally (c:\documents and settings\...). It also doesn't happen when navigating to regular folders via breadcrumb.

System specifications: XP Pro SP3, TC 7.50 pb2.

Indeed it's the same problem. Sorry, I cannot fix it, Windows reports them like this as virtual folders.

Try to run regsvr32.exe -u zipfldr.dll.
We are not so S.M.A.R.T. as we imagine...
