TC 7.50 3 Beta - Sees NO SUBST Drives!

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

TC 7.50 3 Beta - Sees NO SUBST Drives!

Post by *raitonosenshi »

I have Total Commander 7.50 3 BETA install and it doesn't see SUBST drives anymore for some reason!?

They are seen and work elsewhere on the system BUT NOT in tc 7.5 B3

The stable 7.04 release worked correctly!

Does anyone else have the same mistake?

Did you start TC7.5 under another account ("run as" or "run as Administrator" ?

Yes! I just figuer this out! I run it from my account but as administrator! When you run it normally it works correctly!

Is there a reason for it?

I assume the same problem as HolgerK: Windows XP and later assigns SUBSTed drives separately for each user account, so when you create the drive letter as current user and then start TC as admin, you cannot see the drive.
