Viewing Word Docs in HTMLView?
IEView would let you view Word Docs. Does HTMLView do the same?

Ahh, OK. So they don't look like actual DOC files would in Word then. Why not get the Office plugin for lister then? It will show DOC files like they should.
chmod a+x /bin/laden -- Allows anyone the permission to execute /bin/laden

Sorry but I'm right !Postkutscher wrote:I think Horst.Epp has overlooked something in the question. Anyway he is not right.
The question was if HTMLview can view doc files, the answer is YES.
Using the the files known by IE it can view anything for which an Active X function is there. And they look as they look in Word for example.
I'm not expecting more for a View / Qiock View function.

Yes, you are right. I`m sorry. I beg your pardon. I was mistaken by the following sentence from the history of plugin "All non-html functionality removed".
Where you know about *.doc from? I cannot find not a one word about this possibility in readme.
I have made some tests and surprised: htmlview can show *.pdf, but cannot *.djvu. Why? IeView can them both.
