Lister/Tcmd focus
Hi,
Press F3 in Tcmd to open a file with lister.
Select another file in Tcmd and press F3 to open the second file also in lister.
The z-order is now (lister window - tcmd - lister window).
I want to view both lister windows beside each other (in the foreground) so I click on the first lister window in the taskbar to bring it to the foreground but at that moment the lister window that was on the foreground disappears behind tcmd.
Win XP, TCMDPB8

Strange, cannot confirm, I just tried that here on WinXP SP3.
1. F3 -> Lister 1 in foreground
2. Click on TC taskbar icon -> TC in Foreground
3. F3 -> Lister 2 in foreground
4. Click on Lister 1 taskbar icon -> Lister 1 in foreground
5. Move Lister 1 to a different position -> Lister 2 is in front of TC
Maybe you do something different?

I cannot confirm this either. Some other program must be involved.

In my case I did exactly what you describe BUT I had another TC instance running (minimized and not used for test). With only one TC I can't reproduce that bug.

I can confirm it now, if running a second instance of TC at the same time.
If I bring the other instance of TC into foreground and then click the two Lister instances, they can both be brought into foreground.
Also if I use Alt-Tab to bring the Lister instances to foreground, I have no problems.
This is not new - TC 7.04 seems to behave the same way.

Unfortunately this seems to be a Windows misfeature then. I doubt that I can do anything about it.
