TC usually won't see camera files

Post by *ChuckRoast »

Long-time (license 2162) non-power-user finally has a question:
XP SP3 TC 7.04a My 2 previous cameras, when connected, pop up in the drive bar as removable drives. New camera, Nikon L20, appears as something else (I know not what), and only appears in the Tree View. The files on the camera usually will not display in TC. Windows Explorer always shows them. A screen cap of both is at

Perhaps in 1 in 5 attempts TC will display the files. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

That plugin can help. Newer Nikon cameras only have PTP protocol for USB, not mass storage device.

That seems to have done the trick; thanks for the pointer. And thanks also for writing TC (WC) and maintaining and improving it.

And thanks also to Anton Korneev for writing the plugin.
