Here is how DirInfo looks in QuickView on my TC.
As you see, no colors, no files, no buttons etc. Also, no right-click context menu, either. I installed from the link offered above.
What have I done wrong?

Not sure, but looks like you are missing the top menu that normally displays. Perhaps you have another plugin conflicting with the empty extension it associates with?
Unfortunately mounted folders cause it to go haywire.
If DirInfo is every used inside a mounted folder, or in a directory with a mounted folder then it will never finish calculating space.
If you close quickview it causes access violations.
Unloading plugins after this fact causes TC to crash.
The only way to fix it after an access violation is to shutdown TC/restart.

Hi JohnFredC,
here
is the view at my TC.
I think you don't have really activated the correct quickview.
Be shure, that no other lister plugin has reserved "no ending" at the Quickview. Click on a folder on the left side, without opening it and activate the quickview (with dirinfo plugin installed). Select on the icons both files and folders ( 1 click and button is pushed)

That was it... I moved DirInfo above IEView and the toolbar and colors appeared.Perhaps you have another plugin conflicting with the empty extension it associates with?
But now, I can't switch back to IEView (by pressing "4" when the plugin has the focus).
