Definitely, an option to do so, or a checkbox on the dialog.
Opera's text-search automatically wraps around, and if it's a long page and/or if you don't pay very close attention to the scroll bar position it can be difficult to tell that it has even started over. It will never finish, continually looping back to the beginning.

Yup, I fully agree with this proposal, it would be very useful. For sure not automatically search from beginning if not found (of from the end if searching backwards)Balderstrom wrote:I would think,I dont think it even needs to be an option, instead of just popping up with Not found, give the option to research from beginning - problem solved."Foobar not found! Continue search from Beginning?"

Hello Roman !
- Maybe a menu pop-up shown only in Text modes (or else, greyed out) like :
<Looped Search>
having a single item :
• Enable¦Disable looped Search
with which no tick-box is needed in the dialogue, thus we'ld kill two birds with the same stone…

• Clever, but I think that it could be overlooked…The percentage in the upper right-hand corner could blink twice or so.
