There is a memory leak in TC. I believe it's related to unpacking (password protected?) rar archives using external rar.exe.
I want to trace it, but that's not the point of this report.
I was in a situation with very low memory, heavy disk thrashing. Also, 100% CPU usage. I knew that TC has this leak and expected it to be taking 200-500 MB and decided to restart it. A few seconds after pressing the close button (my computer was working really slow then), I saw the message above.

ADDED:
Strange. I see that some of the work my computer was doing is unfinished, output files are cut. Did other processes crash too?
Also, I have to say that it's not the first time I restart TC in such situation and I never saw it causing a crash.

There seems to be an infinite loop in Delphi, the following two functions alternate each other:
TWinControl.CreateHandle
TWinControl.GetHandle

Apparently Windows cannot create any more window controls because of an out of memory (probably: USER objects) situation.
There is a memory leak in TC.
I'm not aware of any, can you try to me more specific of what you are trying to do? Are these multi-volume RAR files, or otherwise special?

Various.
Usually encrypted, sometimes multi-volume.
I'll try to find something reproducible.

EDIT:
I just experienced another crash like that.
Sorry, I didn't copy it.
No other programs crashed this time, though background jobs were the same.

Your crash was at a completely different address. Can you describe what you were doing in TC when you got the crash?
