PSD thumbnails viewing problem

Post by *vilbur »

Hello everobody, I have problem with viewing of .psd, .dds and .tga thumbnails in Total comander 7.50a. on Windows 7. I have tried install xnview, ACDsee, irfanview viewers, but i still have only icons instead of thumbnails. I have tried reinstall TC, i have MysticThumbs installed, i have ImgView plugin installed too, but nothing works. I have default settings of thumbnails in TC. In Windows Explorer thumbnails works very well. Please, can somebody help me with my problem ? Thanks a lot

You are probably using a 64-bit version of Windows. TC is a 32-bit program, so only 32-bit thumbnail extractors will work.

However, extraction via Irfaview does work, you just need to set the Irfanview location in Lister's configuration.

The Ardfry PSD codec will work with Total Commander on 64 bit Windows 7. One of our customers requested support for this scenario and we sorted out getting it working for our codecs.

Thank you for your suggestions, i have resolved my problem. I installed "Imagine" plugin instead of " ImgView" and it works. Good luck
