Well, I can confirm it on 2 Total Commander configurations.
On one I disabled all possible TWinKey options via Utilisator but the bug disappeared only after disabling TWinKey plugin completely.
So I guess there is some non-default option in Total Commander that causes that bug with TWinKey. I'll discover more...

hi!
TWinKey is one of the best plugins (for me).
2 features i ever waiting for:
- configurable background colors
- directory/path dependent custom views
now i configured a view with dirsizecalc fields. unfortunately i encountered an incompatibility with dirsizecalc.
dirsizecalc should do its calculations in the background.
but...: if dirsizecalc view is activated while TWinKey is used (path dependent views used), and switching to another directory/drive, TC seems to hang. while dirsizecalc is calculating, the panel does not show any contents, until dirsizecalc has finished.
so this cool plugin is useless when used with TWinKey.
is there any chance to fix this?
i tried TC 7.55 RC3. only a short test with TWinKey. it seems that the tab colors are no more working correctly. maybe also other problems.
therefore i switched back to 7.50a.
are there plans to adjust TWinKey to new TC version?
kind regards

Or, alternatively, wait for the new version and then check again.
Yes, the new version will be released in a few days.are there plans to adjust TWinKey to new TC version?
Currently I don't see problems in TC 7.55 RC3. What you mean "correctly"? Tabs are not colored at all? Wrong color is used? The problem with automatic or manual coloring? The problem with some specific or any directory? More info, please.i tried TC 7.55 RC3. only a short test with TWinKey. it seems that the tab colors are no more working correctly

i'll test again and report you the results.VadiMGP wrote:Currently I don't see problems in TC 7.55 RC3. What you mean "correctly"? ... More info, please.
i have some improvements too. as you still developing your plugin, i will write these down and post them here too.
the first 2 wishes for the next release:
---> please make it work with dirsizecalc (described above)
---> a separate icon and/or a definable color (without gradient) for the active tab. currently it's hard to recognize it quickly.
best regards

Sorry, it is TC limitation. You can see the similar behavior without TWinKey too.dirsizecalc should do its calculations in the background.
but...: if dirsizecalc view is activated while TWinKey is used (path dependent views used), and switching to another directory/drive, TC seems to hang. while dirsizecalc is calculating, the panel does not show any contents, until dirsizecalc has finished.
For example:
1. Switch to the custom view with dirsizecalc fields (or any other plugin with background processing)
2. Switch to the disk/directory with huge number of files, so dirsizecalc start background calculation
3. Quickly select all files an invoke command cm_CopyFileDetailsToClip.
At this point TC will freeze until dirsizecalc finish it's calculation.
Sorry, I cannot change this.
I cannot add this to the nearest release, but I'll add this to my todo list.a separate icon and/or a definable color (without gradient) for the active tab. currently it's hard to recognize it quickly.
TWinKey has worked for me only very briefly. I saw it colorizing a tab and a file name, so I guess I did install it properly. Then it stopped doing anything.
I suspect it conflicts with something in my configuration. I run TC 7.55 with QuickSearch Extended 2.01 (with its GUI disabled): is it known to conflict?
Win XP Pro SP3 English.
I have a wish list, thanks for considering any of these:
++ colorize the current tab, including automatically when TC starts up: currently I find it very hard to distinguish which is the current tab;
+ skin the [..] (dot dot) line at the top of the list panel - ideally I would like to hide it completely;
+ skin/colorize thumbnails
Going back to figure out what blocks TWinKey on my system...
