Disable disk-drives ...

Post by *Peter »

I don't know if it is already discussed, but ...

Starting the "Transformers" displays always all drives: A (floppy disk), D and E (CD and DVD) - and displaying means reading it: Every start takes a little time and makes running the disks.

Suggestion:
Is it possible to disable some drives which I do not need in Transformer?

Peter:
You were right, the floppy drive caused that delay. I've fixed it, thank you!
Disabling the drives is also a good idea, I've added it to my TODO list, and will be added in the following version.
Have you tried the image to jpg converter plugin?

Some new features?

Post by *Peter »

Hello

I want to refresh this discussion and want to ask the users who know how to code a plugin:

Are there some new features out there? Is there anybody who made something new - and wants to post it here to share it with other users?

IMHO this plugin is a very powerful base for a lot of functions, and it is a pity that the discussion has stopped for the last months.

Regards

Hello Peter!

Nowadays the development slowed down because of other works and school, and as I noticed people are not motivated to code any plugin for the framework. :(
There is no new stable release where new features are present, the latest stable one is available on the internet. I'm working on the option to code frontend plugins for command line things, and some other ones what i've mentioned before. Unfortunately nobody dropped me a mail about any plugin development connected to the framework.
I'm glad that you are interested in the framework, and that you realized the fantastic options which aren't used by anyone for the moment. If i saw some plugin that would help on my motivation. I'd be thankful if you helped me on making the tool popular :)

Best regards
Summer

Hello Summr

this summer is gone, but your still active (on RAMCopy) - fine.

Today I start searching a (new?) plugin for handling print-files
http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=27456
and I thought: "Maybe this could be a quick effect of Transformer? Maybe easy to do and easy to use?"

What to you think?

Best regards

Peter

I haven't given it a try, though.
