Try to read attached reamd file. :-)

Go to Neigborhood, choose CD-Ripper, go to Settings and select desired format and copy the source files to CONVERT folder.

Hi!
May the Author (Chernih Sergey) build a "packer style:wcx" version of his wonderful program Cd-Ripper? (With some differences: for example, to see wav file "inside" mp3 file I'd use Ctrl+PgDown. Enter should be used, as usual, to play it).

I no find sense in such plugin - transformation (the unpacking in this case) from MP3 in WAV occupies certain time, often long, particularly on old computer.

Excuse me, but I don't understand you. I have not a fast computer but With Ctrl+PgDown, I can instantly see all the bmp files and the wav file inside an avi file (avi packer plugin installed)...
I wanted to obtain a wav file from an mp3 (wma, ogg,..) file, directly: Like it happens with avi plugin or other "standard" packer. But it is not important. Excuse me again and please ignore my request.

Ok, I have chosen the AVI file (size - 350 mB) and open with Ctrl+PgDown. Opened time - beside 3 minutes :)

Hi SCHMaster!

First of all, thank you again for your Cd-Ripper plugin. I often use it and it is very, very good. :D

IMHO, again, some kinds of conversion (ex: wav to mp3, wma) could be also integrated in a "zip like" way. But I don't know how much work that needs and, moreover, you don't like the idea. So really no problem.

Though I'm not talking about the opportunity of doing an audio conversion, but about another way to do it (using Cd-Ripper engine), I report an avi test:

P3 600Mhz 500 MB, Avi file divx 704 MB, Ctrl+PgDown open time: 4 seconds
Wav "Unpack" time: 40 seconds
Some informations from Gspot:
Video codec:
4CC: div3 (DivX 3 Low-Motion) - 994 kb/s - FPS 25.00
Audio codec:
divx (same as wma) - 64kb/s (32/ch, stereo)

Yes :)
Why remake that already there is, but under other name (plugin type)
P3 600Mhz 500 MB, Avi file divx 704 MB, Ctrl+PgDown open time: 4 seconds ...
Hm... What version avi packer you use?

I 've created a batch file and a shortcut which does convert into mp3 very well. Feel free too improove it for some other type of audio-data:

Just create a menu-icon with following entries. You can do this by right-clicking an empty field from the icon-menu-bar:

Command: %Path_to_batchfile%\total-lame.bat
Params: "%L" "%T"

or:

Command: %Path_to_batchfile%\total-lame-nogap.bat
Params: "%L" "%T"

There must be lame installed.
Tested under Windows XP.
Correct the path to the used program (lame) in the following batchfiles:

[lamelist.bat]

Code: Select all

if %2==--nogap goto nogap2
for /F "delims=" %%i in (%~2) do C:\Programme\GordianKnot\lame.exe %~1 "%%i" "%~3%%~ni.mp3"
if ERRORLEVEL 1 goto help
goto ok

:nogap1
for /F "delims=" %%i in (%~3) do set buffer=!buffer! "%%i"
C:\Programme\GordianKnot\lame.exe %~2 --nogap %buffer% --nogapout "%~4"
if ERRORLEVEL 1 goto help
goto ok

:nogap2
for /F "delims=" %%i in (%~3) do set buffer=!buffer! "%%i"
C:\Programme\GordianKnot\lame.exe %~1 --nogap %buffer% --nogapout "%~4"
if ERRORLEVEL 1 goto help
goto ok

:help
echo.
echo  +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
echo I things above are not from lamelist.bat I
echo  I                                                                       I
echo I usage of lamelist.bat: lamelist.bat "[op]" (--nogap) [file] [dir] I
echo  I                                                                       I
echo  I  op:    valid lame.exe options                                        I
echo I file: file, which contains a list of inputfilenames I
echo I dir: destination folder I
echo I nogap: let lame use the nogap-feature I
echo  I                                                                       I
echo I This bat-file is designed for use in Windows Commander: I
echo I For this create a button in WC with a nice icon :-) I
echo I It should call the command lamelist.bat with following I
echo  I  parameters:                                                          I
echo  I                  "[op]" "%%L" "%%T"                                     I
echo  I  for example:                                                         I
echo  I     "--athtype 2 --vbr-new -V 0 -q 0 -m j -o" "%%L" "%%T"               I
echo  I                                                                       I
echo I Now you can mark some tracks on the left WC-window, push I
echo I your new button and the result are nice mp3s on the right I
echo  I  window.                                                              I
echo  +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
echo.
pause

:ok
endlocal
@echo on
examples:

[total-lame.bat]

Code: Select all

@echo off
echo LAME mp3-Encoder:
echo Which quality? 0(high) up to 9(low) ...
set /p Quality=
call lamelist.bat "--athtype 2 --vbr-new -V %Quality% -q 0 -m j -o --nohist --disptime 10" %1 %2
@echo on
[total-lame-nogap.bat]

Code: Select all

@echo off
echo LAME mp3-Encoder:
echo Which quality? 0(high) up to 9(low) ...
set /p Quality=
call lamelist.bat "--athtype 2 --vbr-new -V %Quality% -q 0 -m j -o --nohist --disptime 10" --nogap %1 %2
@echo on
How to use the new buttons in your menu-bar?
Just mark the files (wav) u wanna convert on one side. When pushing the the new convert-icon, these files will be encoded to the other side.

Good luck

Just a note - stereo mode (-m s) sounds better to me than joint stereo.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Yeap! It's a phenomenon that applies to other ears as well! :D ;)
