deleting a file deletes a folder too (with similar names)

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Test is very easy, just save a page from Google Chrome. For example for saving this page I will have:
a file: "Total Commander Post a new topic.htm"
and a directory: "Total Commander Post a new topic_files".

If I delete the file, it deletes the folder too! It doesn't happen with Shift+Del, but it happens with normal del!

You may disable this stupid thing in Folder Options under Control Panel.

Now I see it and it's not a really important thing, I just wanted to mention that I think Total Commander works in a strange way in this case. In my understanding there should be no difference between Del and Shift-Del, but I see that it might not be easily implemented.

Problem is that if you're deleting to Recycle Bin, TC needs to use Explorer's deletion methods.

I see so pretty much the only solution would be to rename folder-delete-rename folder...
