... allerdings habe ich vor der aktuellen Version von TC nie ein derartiges Problem gehabt.Apparently the program uses DDE (dynamic data exchange) to open a file when the program is already running. DDE sends the file name to the already running program via special Windows messages. If you get this error, it means that the association is bad, e.g. there are DDE leftovers from a previously installed program. You can try to turn off DDE via Files - Associate - Edit type. However, Windows will then open a new copy of the program for each file.
