Close TC: "Dispatcher Crash"

Post by *Peter »

Today I got (after three weeks) the second time a "Dispatcher error" while closing TC.
Dispatcher: TOTALCMD.EXE - Fehler in Anmeldung
Die Anweisung in "0x.." verweist auf Speicher in "0x...". Der Vorgang "read" konnte nicht auf dem Speicher abgeschlossen werden.

This error doesn't seem to come from Total Commander itself, because TC couldn't intercept it and show its own error message. It probably comes from some Explorer context menu extension.

Do you get this error after using the context menu, Alt+Enter, or Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V?

You should try to find out what is causing it, by closing TC, re-opening it, performing one operation (e.g. context menu, Ctrl+C or so) and then immediately closing it. That's the only way to really find out what is going wrong because it's not happening in TC itself.
