TC8b2-x64 recognizes the plugin and its exported content fields succcesfully. But in my test all content fields remain empty.
TC plugins: Autodesk 3ds Max / Inventor / Revit Preview, FileInDir, ImageMetaData (JPG Comment/EXIF/IPTC/XMP), MATLAB MAT-file Viewer, Mover, SetFolderDate, Solid Edge Preview, Zip2Zero and more

I also get empty fields with TC v8b2. I tried:

[=filediz.Versionsinfo]
[=filediz.Versionsinfo.Firmenname]
[=filediz.Versionsinfo.Originaldateiname]
[=filediz.Versionsinfo.Version]

as costum columns for all files in TC Dir.

After installation plugin is listed under "[ContentPlugins]" in wincmd.ini. But there is also "[ContentPlugins64]". Is this correct? I tested another 64bit wdx: "FileX". It appears also under "[ContentPlugins]". So either it is ok or it is a TC bug.

"[ContentPlugins64]". Is this correct?
I don't know. Pls try setting [ContP64] for Filediz too. Also empty fields?

It seems to be TC issue. I placed filediz.wdx64 under [ContPlug64] and plugin disappears in TC. TC writes [ContPlug64] into wincmd.ini, but it is not using this ini-field.

This is what I have in wincmd.ini

Code: Select all

[ContentPlugins]
0=c:\MyProgramFiles\wincmd\Plugins\FileDiz\FileDiz.wdx
[ContentPlugins64]
0=1
even though there is no FileDiz.wdx.
TC plugins: Autodesk 3ds Max / Inventor / Revit Preview, FileInDir, ImageMetaData (JPG Comment/EXIF/IPTC/XMP), MATLAB MAT-file Viewer, Mover, SetFolderDate, Solid Edge Preview, Zip2Zero and more

Version Info fields do work now in 32 and 64 bit version of TC. But Long Description Field is still empty in TC (but not in WDX Guide).

I tried and it is ok for me now. I see [=filediz.Versionsinfo.Version] for totalcmd.exe. Other fields are ok too. I see original filename, description, company name and so on.

2tbeu I can confirm. I see no content for field called: [=filediz.Besondere Beschreibung]. I think it is the long description field. Other fields are ok
