[8.00ß5-x64] Bold Font after Buttonbar changes
The text nearby the drive combobox gets sometimes bold, after any changes on the buttonbar.
- It happens sometimes after hide/show the buttonbar
- It happens also sometimes after updating the buttonbar (change a icon or something)
Edit:
This seems to happend only, if the "Flat user interface" button is unchecked in the Configuration > Layout Menu

Sorry, I misunderstood you.
Sure, i have changed my font to the windows 7 default font (Segoe,9 non-bold),
and after some changes to the buttonbar, the font/text gets bold, but only nearby the
driveletter combobox (free diskspace information).
This could be a refresh problem of cleartype fonts, because after changes on the buttonbar,
the text gets bold for a half second and then it gets its normal state. But sometimes the font
keeps bold.

Please let me know if you find a way to reproduce it. So far I can't - I use a non-bold font for the main window, and bold for the file lists.

I can definitely reproduce it, by changing an icon from the buttonbar.
I made 2 screenshots of this behavior:
Before: Normal
After: Bold
I can reproduce this, on Intel CPU based GFX and on Nvidia GTX 560 cards, in case this was a GFX driver or a refresh problem.
If the text gets bold, everything that refresh the screen (e.g. STRG+R), set the text to its normal state.
Edit:
If you change an icon multiple times in a row, the font gets bolder and bolder. This looks like a cleartype font is rendered multiple times on the same place without a cleanup.

I see, so the font isn't actually changed to bold. It's a problem reported before, where the text overdraws itself without clearing the background. It then becomes a bit darker when using cleartype.
Unfortunately I can't reproduce it when changing a button in the button bar. I did try with flat user interface turned on and off.
Any other clues what might cause this problem?
