Yes, this is not everywhere reproduced. Even at this computer to reinstall the OS, this plug-in version 1.0 worked fine.
This is not working either 1.0 or 1.2.
Maybe there is a debug version of the plug, with logging of actions and failures?

Re: cURL ssh2.dll and libeay32.dll available for x32 and x64

Post by *karlchen »

Hello, Christian.

No-one has ever commented on this post by user Jack! in November 2011.
Jack! wrote:For your information, it seems that the cURL DLL's, needed for SFTP, are available for both Windows x32 and x64 platform now.
Check http://www.gknw.net/mirror/curl/win64/ for x64 and http://www.gknw.net/mirror/curl/win32/ for x32.
Latest version:
x32: curl-7.23.1-devel-mingw32
x64: curl-7.23.1-devel-mingw64
The 32-bit DLL package is identical to the 32-bit DLL package which you point to here.

Yet, the 64-bit package which Jack! points to simply holds the same files as the 32-bit package, but of course the 64-bit versions. Yet, it does not hold the file zlibwapi.dll.
The 64-bit package which you composed back in Sept. 2011, openssl+ssh64.zip, does.

So, I assume that the original curl-7.23.1-devel-mingw64 package is not sufficient, because the file zlibwapi.dll is missing. Correct?

Kind regards,
Karl

I had not realized that Christian had released an updated version v1.2 of his sFTP plugin. So I will get it, try and report back.
By the way, to the best of my knowledge no debug version is available to the public.

Maybe you have different Libeay32.dll versions in TC dir (for FTP over SSL) and in plugin dir (for SFTP)? a mix of dlls can cause big problems.

I put only one copy of this files to TC dir - new Libeay32.dll 1.0.6 and libssh2 from libcurl by Günter Knauf. I've already understood it and now use only Günter Knauf's libraries.

I encountered a wierd issue with the plugin (both 1.1 & the latest - 1.2) on Win7 64-bit (running Total Commander 8.0b17) & I hope it is the right place to post it.

Here is a summary of my tests:
When copying files with size 1.8M from the PC (linux), it is copied flawlessly.
When copying files with a size of 50M, for example, it gets stuck after a few moments & eventually a dialog box "Error Downloading file" is displayed.
Copying from the Win7x64 PC to the linux works fine.
Copying with WinSCP 5.0.3 works fine (from linux - large files).

Copying from the same linux to another PC (Win2k3 32-bit running Total Commander 8.0b18 + SFTP Plugin 1.1) - works properly.

It seems the link to the DLL files is not working. The domain nameservers are down. Anybody an alternative for these files / download link?

Thanks from snowy Holland!

I have the same problem. The URL listed below doesn't work:

http://www.gknw.net/mirror/curl/win32/curl-7.24.0-devel-mingw32.zip

Can I get dlls from other site?
