The label of the Search & Replace section's "Subst" option appears truncated unless the dialog is re-sized.

Confirm that by default (with clean INI) MRT is opened with such size that "Subst" label is cut.
Tested in Win7.

Sorry, this is also intentional - the dialog must be allowed to be that small to work also in safe mode.

It's not a problem. The problem is that its default size is too small to fit the label. The default size of the MRT dialog is already larger than its minimal size (when you start TC with fresh INI and open MRT you're able to narrow the dialog). So why not make it a bit larger by default but remain its minimal available width the same it's now? This way users will still be able to use it in safe mode, and at the same time in normal mode the labels will not be cut.

Ah, I see - I will make the name box a bit smaller, and the search&replace box a bit larger.

I tried that but since the name and search&replace boxes are resized proportionally, the dialog needs to be quite large (about 800 pixels wide) to see just the English "Subst" label...

Confirmed fixed in TC 8.0b18.

Would it also be possibele to make the default width (not minimum width) of the Multi-rename window a little bigger - for example 720 pixels, in stead of 697 pixels. Since the default width is already bigger than the minimum width of 638 pixels, it should be reasonable enough just to keep the default size under the next step: 800 pixels.

BTW, the minimum width of this dialog in the 64 bit version under Windows 7 is not 638 pixels - it is 650 pixels - hence it will not fit, if safe mode is forced to 640x480 resolution

In classic theme (which is used in safe mode) it's 646 pixels here. But yes, still will not fit 640.
