What is problem?

Post by *Clo »

:) Hello !
• The main feature of TC is to have TWO file-windows.
• There is none benefit to open a single one instead !
• You can set that you want for each pannel from the "Show" menu...

I.e. : the tree at left, and another mode like "Full" at right.
• You can too move the separator to enlarge a pannel rather than the other etc.

• From the same Menu, you could choose too "Vertical arrangement" to get superposed windows - but still TWO.

  Kind regards

It is possible. :-)
Just edit your wincmd.ini file. Find section: [800x600 (8x16)] - if use other resolution find the one suitable for you. Then change the default value for Divider=500 into Divider=1000.
That's all.

If you want to run TC once in one-panel mode and in other cases in two-panel mode you can create two configuration files and create shortcuts to TC like these:

d:\totalcmd\totalcmd.exe /i=onepanel.ini (with Divider=1000)
d:\totalcmd\totalcmd.exe /i=twopanel.ini (with Divider=500)

turn-around

Post by *Clo »

:)   Hi again!
• The display mode'll change if you open a drive in the "fix" window, i.e. where is the tree.

• You can set the pannels width-ratio to that you need, by a right-click on the divider; you get a small menu, in which the values are planned.
¤ For instance, you could choose 20% for "left" and 80% for "right", and always open the new drive at right, keeping the tree in the other pannel.

• At any time, you can change the pannels widths with this menu, by step of 10%.

sorry for my poor english. My mean is:
first, I choose the driver C: in two windows, and I set up show the tree in the left and the full in the right, when I choose the folder in the left , right will show the full automaticlly . if I switch other driver(D:E:), right couldn't change to corresponding driver
WHY?
