InactiveFocus not cleared in some cases

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

InactiveFocus not cleared in some cases

Post by *Flint »

0. Prepare 3 files with arbitrary contents. Let's name them for example test1.tmp, test2.tmp, test3.tmp.
1. Start TC with fresh INI containing only InactiveFocus=1, navigate to that directory where you have those 3 files. Make sure there are no files with the same names on the other panel.
2. Select test2.tmp and test3.tmp, and set the cursor on test1.tmp (without selecting it).
3. Press F5, then Enter.
4. After the two files were copied, the cursor is set on test3.tmp, but around the file test1.tmp there is inactive cursor visible (which disappears after redrawing the TC window).

This issue sometimes is not reproduced, so it may require several attempts. Also you may need to make the TC window higher (or even maximize it) so that the progress dialog did not overlap the inactive cursor area and did not cause forced updating of the TC window in this particular location.

Tested in WinXP SP3, TC 8.0 32-bit final.
