Hello
I am unconditional TC registered user for many years. Since I have a computer with Windows 7 Home Premium (64x) my highest aspiration was the have the TC 8 (64x). Now that I already use on a daily basis the TC 8 (64x) only miss a topic that is very important: to recognize all types of device connected by usb to my PC.
I mean, if I connect my smartphone or my mp3/mp4, TC 8 (64x) not recognized... Explorer of Windows or Q-Dir (http://www.softwareok.com/?seite=software/q-dir) recognizes them perfectly. For this reason I have installed Q-Dir on my PC, only to work with my smartphone or mp3 mp4 when connected to my PC... Miss that TC 8 (64x) may not recognize such devices and to use exclusively the TC 8 (64x). would it be possible to have this option ever?.
Greetings and thanks,

Hi jcm,
A few possibilities here:
a) type cm_opendesktop in the command line. This will open a special folder which would also list devices that are not obtaining a drive letter, like mp3 players, phones, cameras.
b) Use the MediaAudio2 plugin https://plugins.ghisler.com/fsplugins/wpdplug.zip which lets you access those devices via Network Neighborhood
c) For smartphones also several plugins exist, like TotalAndroid (see www.totalcmd.net)
