RFE: create a home screen shortcut to a folder -- or a bookm

Unless I'm overlooking the function, I cant' see how to create a shortcut to a folder on my home screen. The HTC Sense (3.6) shortcut creation (under "Personalize") for a Total Commander shortcut only lets me select a file, not a folder.

The "Send to */*" context menu doesn't offer me a "Desktop" or "home screen" or "shortcut" option ... perhaps a problem with ICS/Sense 3.6, or a feature to be added in the future?

Just go to the folder with the browse dialog and tap on OK without selecting any file.
