Total Commander Ultima Prime is a collection of the software and customized settings sets gathered in one installation package for enhancing Total Commander (file manager) possibilities. Our project differs from official distribution provided by Christian Ghisler on www.totalcmd.com site.

TCUP have the advantage to propose a complete installable package with Total Commander + Plugins + tools + some software. As it is a very big package, 80% of if is useless for 80% of the people.

My advise is to look at it to start and learn about TC bundle. Remove all the crappy stuff you do not use in order Build and maintain your own package as you "need" and forget it.

When I was still getting to know TC, I installed that monster just to see what one can do with TC. I learned a trick or two from that package.

Well, I did that, too, installed TC UP.
Pretty little proggy, but took me rather fat time uninstalling it

I can't exactly remember, I just used it as reference, modified a menu here and there, combined with some of mine I added later, some from petermad's menus (thanks by the way, Mr. petermad)

I have a FrankenTC, sorry. :(

I wonder if C. Ghisler was asked for permission before they bundled it with their addons.

Yes, the makers of TCUP asked for permission. Since there are some people who prefer an "all in one" package instead of installing just the plugins they need, I agreed that they offer this bundle. Please note that other bundles than TCUP are NOT authorized. Some of them contain cracked software and even trojans, so please be careful.
