How to exclude directories from the history list?

I woudl like TC not to rememember and directory history at all for a given patition - (how) can I do this?

You can't specify separate partitions to keep history or not, you can only enable/disable keeping history at all.

I think it would be easier (and much faster) to write a script that will erase unwanted history items...

Agree. I will do so.

If anyone cares to post some requirements then I will try to implement them & make the s/w available. Otherwise,. I will just code what suits me.

Hi graham_k,

One wish from my side would be that either the RedirectSection for Left/RightHistory in Wincmd.ini is resolved or the Redirected ini file itself can be entered / parameterized.
I've noticed in the past that bluntly removing entries from the history will render any subsequent entries unusable, so the sequence numbering of entries would need to be adapted on removal of any entry.

Ok, it is already coded - and works like you asked, I just need to add somethign to save your preferences to an .INI file or the registry. Then I will put a project on SourceForge & announce it here.
