I would like to see thumbnails in a compressed file
I think it would be useful to include the possibility of see thumbnails when you enter in the compressed file.
Total commander let us to access to the compressed file like in a folder, i would like to see thumbnails of the compressed file like in a folder.
Is it possbile?
This is a functionality useful that already exists in xnview or winzip.
Thanks

Where is the ToDo-list again?
As a matter of fact, this is what a filemanager does, when one is looking into a compressed file: Uncompress it into a temporarily file and show its content! When the user closes the file-window, the temp-file is automatically deleted. Why not either create thumbnails in this temp-file.sqa_wizard wrote:As a matter of fact, each file has to uncompressed before a thumbnail can be created.
(You cannot see the content of a Christmas gift packet without unpacking it too)

I think for compressed files with several images it is quite better to see all images automatically than to have to enter in each image manually.
Moreover, with new computers the time required to descompress each image automatically is less than the required time to enter in each iimage manually.
Other interest point is with thumbnails you can see several images in the same time.
