Request to not display Add/Edit button on a separate bar

My request is to not display the Add/Edit button on a separate bar.
So far I have not needed it and on my telephone with screensize 800x480 pixels the bar that only displays this button takes up valuable screen height in landscape mode.

1. You can hide this "Add" button with the button at the bottom right.
or
2. You can configure TC to show only one button bar.
