Well, as Maxwish is on vacation I'll try to keep CT up to date, meaning adding new plugins, etc., but don't expect too many polls or something. However, as I am not quite used to managing CT yet, I'd appreciate any information on what does not work now but did work before I started to take care of CT - ie things like "Plugin XYZ's description is totally screwed" or "The link for ABC doesn't work even though I reported that twice and here's the working link: http://working.url/to/file.zip" or "There used to be a WLX section, did it not?".
Thanks for understanding and cooperation.
BTW: The first issue is with UTCME 1.01 which I added, however, geocities reports some bandwidth issues (and I don't think direct linking works, either), so I decided to leave both 1.00 and 1.01 online. When the 1.01 download starts working again I will delete the 1.00.
BTW2: This also can be seen as a log for Maxwish so he knows what everything I screwed up when he comes back (you make regular (and by regular I don't mean every year) backups, don't you?).
Thanks
Roman

WLX/Database:
- xBase, Paradox & Access Viewer to v3.2.

WCX/Other:
- Checksum should now work, even though I am not sure if the author likes direct linking.
WFX/Drive:
- Virtual Disks works, even though there are three broken link reports.

BTW: I am not sure how Maxwish updates the tools/plugins/addons, but the way I do it they do not appear in the "Last 10 files added/updated" list (unless they are new additions, not just updates), so I guess you'll have to rely on this thread instead.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Would it be possible to add the following file?
http://de.geocities.com/server1024/tc/
(newfile.zip)
It is a tool to create empty files in the current directory.
I don't know where I got it, and since the website mentioned in the readme.txt doesn't work anymore I thought it would be best if it was on ClubTotal.

Without any tools, it seems that adding a "?" in the parameters of the already existing button of "notepad.exe" make the same things...za222 wrote:...It is a tool to create empty files in the current directory.
I'm I wrong ? I'm still searching what I get more from newfile.exe...
Cheers.

There are more editors than the default one sitting on F4.
There are more file extensions than .txt. Some people create .css files they wanna edit with TopStyle, .ini files they wanna open with some programmer's editor, etc.
There are people using filenames as place for comments, to structure a folder for example, they don't need editors at all.
There are people finding it just annoying to close editor instances they have no need for at that time for whatever reason.
For all these cases newfile is simply useful.

As I can see the file has been placed on ClubTotal
But the Problem is, that my server doesn't allow direct Links.
The Link http://de.geocities.com/server1024/tc/newfile.zip doesn't work.
You have to go to http://de.geocities.com/server1024/tc/ and manually click on "newfile.zip"
Isn't it possible to host the file directly on ClubTotal?
Or is there anyone who can host the file?

Well, downloading (by pressing Download Now) works for me.the Problem is, that my server doesn't allow direct Links.
It works from Club Total as well as when pasted into TC's Ctrl-N...The Link http://de.geocities.com/server1024/tc/newfile.zip doesn't work.
I think only Maxwish can do that.Isn't it possible to host the file directly on ClubTotal?
