Final ?

Post by *Clo »

After installing v. 6.02 final-final (date 3.3.04) I don't have the problem with scrolling in vertical aligned panels anymore (using intelliPoint 3.10).
:)  Hello Peter,
:?: what final 6.02 ??? We have currently the 6.02 - public beta 3.

• At home, I have still the same behaviour, plus the bug that you described previously (I had not in older versions). I have always a double-scroll, even if I click in the window for the upper-window.
- That doesn't occur for the lower window, but I've to click into...
• In the other PC, all works fine like below in both windows layout...
   Kind regards,
Claude

It's announced via email for the beta testers - from the mail (dated 3.3.04 15:35):

"Dear beta testers

Total Commander 6.02 final is available now! I plan to upload it to
Simtelnet and Betanews tonight. Please check that everything is
OK with the installation, and that there are no new bugs.

What corrections are there?
- With file panels above each other, the mouse wheel may have
scrolled the wrong window
- Ctrl+Q on a drive in "My Computer" turned off quick view
permanently. Ctrl+Q on a drive is still not working, though.
You can find the list of fixes in history.txt as usual."

I thought it was public available by now - but I see that it is not the case, so I cannot reveal the url for download - because it is not officially released yet. :(

Check your mail - you are a beta-testet too - right :?:

Hi again,
• I'm a beta tester, but I no longer received any notification since July, 2003 or so !
We are Friday, March, 5th., and I didn't received any message from beta-test.
EDIT : I just sent a message to the Author, asking for explanations (one more time...)
Thanks for the info,
  Best regards,
Claude

Careful guys with posts like these. You don't want to loose your jobs, do you! ;)

Stick to personal emails.

...and I don't know to what extend Christian will like users to know which are the beta testers. 8)

Indeed that's one of the fixes in the final release!
