+Missing or wrong file/product version

Post by *sqa_wizard »

TOTALCMD64.EXE: File/product version still says 8.0.1.0
TOTALCMD.EXE does not have a file/product version at all.

Well, this is acceptable for the first beta, but should be fixed soon.

To make it different to the final version (8.5.0.0) I suggest to use something like 8.0.5.1 for first beta, 8.0.5.2 for 2nd beta, etc ...

Confirmed, installers show wrong version 8.0.0.0 also.
Using TC since 1997, known as Windows Commander in the old days ;)

I think the 64 bit hasn't been updated:

Check the date of the
TOTALCMD64.EXE 7'582 k 03.08.2012 08:01 -a--

with
TOTALCMD.EXE 3'900 k 27.08.2013 08:50 -a--
I have the Version 8.50ß1

Did you install the combined 32+64 bit package? I did and here both have been updated.

uups - my fault:

I installed this one:
32-bit (Windows 95 up to Windows 7, 32-bit AND 64-bit!)

now the combined:
32+64-bit (Combined installer Windows 95 up to Windows 8, 32-bit AND 64-bit!)

works fine!

Ah, sorry, I always forget these! It's because I have to run XP mode to use the Delphi Resource editor, which is unfortunately a 16-bit program...

[TC 8.5 ß3]
TOTALCMD.EXE shows File/Product version : 8.5 / 8.5
TOTALCMD64.EXE shows File/Product version : 8.5.0.0 / 0.0.0.0

Way better, thanks

Indeed no product version is Lazarus. Maybe in a later version.
