-[TC8.50b2] tar.xz support?

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Hello Christian, do you plan to add tar.xz among other supported compression formats? Or is there a way how to handle it in the current beta? Thank you

There is a plugin for .xz (direct link) and TC can handle .tar already. The plugin works in TC 8.01 as well so there is no need to update to the current beta.
