Environment: Win8 64Bit
TC 32 and 64
Steps:
1) Extract a large ZIP or 7z archive which contains many files and at least one directory containing some large files
2) Click on cancel while extracting (be sure that the directory is partially extracted)
3) Now select the partially extracted files and the dir and delete them by pressing "DEL"
Windows shows a "Folder Access Denied" dialog and says that administrator privileges are required to delete this folder.
4) Click on cancel
5) Wait a few seconds e.g. 10 secs
6) Repeat step 3) one more time
observed:
The second try works fine but the first try requires admin privileges.
It seems like that right after canceling the extraction some resources are still locked or not accessible without admin privileges for about 10 seconds.
desired behavior:
Deleting must work directly and without admin privileges.

It's *maybe* the windows file cache. Windows itself locked it until all filesferhat wrote:1) Extract a large ZIP or 7z archive which contains many files and at least one directory containing some large files
are written to disk, even if it occurs to be done (existing files an dirs)
on filesystem.

"Folder Access Denied" usually means that the folder is still open in some program - my guess is that it's still being scanned by a background virus scanner, or the disk cache is still writing data to it.
