+when moving and changing name, focus on wrong file
Bug also present in earlier versions.
Create a file c:\file.ext
Use Shift+F6 to rename/move the file.
Rename/move to "temp\windows"
File is moved OK to c:\temp\windows, but now the folder "c:\windows" is selected.

2Sir_SiLvA: You may be misinterpreting what's happening.
Lets say you're in directory like this:
Select file2 and rename it using Shift+F6 to dir3\blah. File gets renamed and moved to dir3, so it dissapears from list. Cursor jumps to next file, i.e. file3.
Now do the same with file3, but choose dir3\dir2 as new name. Cursor does not jump to next file (which would be file4), but instead it goes to dir2. But you weren't doing anything with directory dir2.
Lets say you're in directory like this:
Code: Select all
28.11.2013 13:25 <DIR> dir1
28.11.2013 13:32 <DIR> dir2
28.11.2013 13:33 <DIR> dir3
28.11.2013 13:33 0 file1
28.11.2013 13:33 0 file2
28.11.2013 13:33 0 file3
28.11.2013 13:33 0 file4
Now do the same with file3, but choose dir3\dir2 as new name. Cursor does not jump to next file (which would be file4), but instead it goes to dir2. But you weren't doing anything with directory dir2.

I will check it - but since the name you can enter there can be very complex with ".." etc. in it, I doubt that I can make it work in every case (and I don't want to lose too much time with that either, sorry).

I don't see the problem. You already know that the file was quick-moved outside of current directory. You just need to make sure that cursor always goes to next file, instead of to some completely unrelated directory.
Btw, it's not limited to directories. When you quick-rename file1 in example directory in my first post to dir3\file4, cursor jumps to file4.

Sorry, I thought that you meant that the cursor should be placed on the folder to which the file is moved. Moving it to the next file isn't a problem. Please try beta 12.
