I have noticed that the language used for buttons in the background copy dialog changes from german to english under certain conditions.
To reproduce this, copy a large number of files in (min two) different portions in parallel, started from the same commander instance.
The first dialog shows german button captions, the second (or third) and all following dialogs switch to english captions.
Versions: 8.5 Beta and RC1

I can confirm this, but I haven't found a way to reproduce it.GeorgR wrote:I have noticed that the language used for buttons in the background copy dialog changes from german to english under certain conditions.

So where did you get it, in the F5-F2 queue, or the smaller F5-Enter-Background dialog?

I found it in F5-Background dialog.ghisler(Author) wrote:So where did you get it, in the F5-F2 queue, or the smaller F5-Enter-Background dialog?
When i tried this issue some minutes ago, i found that the language setting is german, but some entries spread all over total commander were english.
When i applied the language setting again, these "wrong" captions disappeared and the dialog box seemed to be correct.
May be that during the different version updates of 8.5 Beta the languages were mixed up somehow.
Is this helpful to you?

I'm sorry, I still can't reproduce it.
Please note that
- when you start TC in English, and
- start a few background processes, and
- then switch TC to some other language
the background windows will remain in English.
