How to load tab folders on TC startup?

Post by *leonard0 »

I turned on the folder tabs and saved them to a file, but they do not appear unless I load them manually. How can I make them appear by default?

Thanks!

In Configuration -> Operation -> Save on exit, select Panels. But if you want to always see a default arraignment of tabs, exit (having the tabs you need visible) then run TC again and uncheck the option.

You can also use the internal command cm_configSaveSettings=580 for the same effect.

The ability to save the tabs as you did is not related to saving the GUI state but just the tab arraignment only. You can have many different saved tab configurations and load them on request by the individual saved files but this writes no info on TC's configurations and as a result TC's ini file.

Btw, cm_configSaveSettings is in the standard menu Configuration - Save settings.

True Christian, it's just that I'm using my custom menu and I can't always remember which internal commands are present in the standard menus that's why I didn't suggest it here. ;)
